German WWII helmets used postwar in the Bulgarian army

German WWII M40 helmet used postwar in the Bulgarian army - repainted to light green, shield-decal and red star hand-painted. The liner is original German; the chinstrap - maybe not.

German M35 or M40 with Bulgarian M-36 liner and chinstrap applied postwar to it. Seems the original German aluminum liner ring was used and the M-36 leather attached to it.

German M42 with postwar replaced liner and chinstrap. The M36 leather liner and chinstrap were attached either to the original German aluminum liner ring, or to Bulgarian M51/72 tin liner ring.
